The Save the Planet Conclave, scheduled for 10–11 May 2026 in Dehradun, is set to bring together environmental thinkers, researchers, policymakers, and literary voices for meaningful dialogue on sustainability and conservation. The event will be hosted by the esteemed Indian Forest Institute, a premier institution known for its contribution to forestry research and ecological awareness in India.

The conclave aims to address pressing environmental challenges such as climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and the increasing frequency of forest fires. Through panel discussions, keynote sessions, and collaborative forums, participants will explore innovative strategies and collective responsibilities toward protecting the planet.

Saurabh Pant to Speak at Save the Planet Conclave 2026 in Dehradun

The organizing committee of the Save the Planet Conclave 2026 is pleased to announce that noted environmental poet and author Saurabh Pant will be a featured guest speaker at this year’s conclave, to be held on 10–11 May 2026 in Dehradun. The event is being hosted by the prestigious Indian Forest Institute.

Saurabh Pant will present insights from his acclaimed poetry collection Forest Fires, a work that explores the devastating impact of forest destruction and the urgent need for ecological balance. His session is expected to bring a unique literary perspective to the conclave, highlighting how creative expression can amplify environmental awareness and inspire meaningful action.

The Save the Planet Conclave serves as a dynamic platform for environmentalists, researchers, policymakers, and thought leaders to engage in critical discussions on sustainability, climate resilience, and conservation strategies.
