Saurabh pant is a visually impaired author who was born on 4th of April, 1994 in the beautiful hill station of nainital in uttarakhand and after a fit of Pneumonia around 3 years he started to lose his vision around 5 years of age.
The author did have a wish to grow up and make an impact in a certain field that must be unique and his dreams have started to flourish after he came to NIEPVD where he did get chances to participate in braille writing contests.
However, this was just the beginning of what was to come as during his college days in KMc in du, he started to contribute in college magazines and also took part in famous contests such as PES essay contest or NLU short story writing where he did win prizes and made his family proud.
His friends at hostel or round department kept encouraging him to work more hard and create a special moment so due to their inspiration, on 23rd of September 2014, this was the day when he managed to publish his 1st book titled Affection never dies from Power Publishers in Kolkata and from there onwards he didn’t look back.
In this journey of 10 years, he has not only published a single work, but has worked with SNDt as a research writer, he succeeded to publish Thoughts Beyond measure, Scars of nature, Rage of marine titans and a lot more if you consider what he has done for the Indian spectrum.
he has been appreciated in his state, in platforms such as Story mirror and Indian Aawaz, he has been recognised by NE8x official and and it can just be a brief word to see how far he has grown in the last 10 years.
Further he has contributed in anthologies be it about nature poems or political ones, Short stories, essays and other elements which shows how much he has done in the writing field.
He has been showcased in solo feature of Hindustan metro and times of India daly and in 2023 the NE8x official honoured him award for his contribution in writing field, whereas TIA appreciated him with Best author award certificate of 2024.
On this day when he completes 10 years of journey, the author wishes to express gratitude to parents and family, Digital teams, supporting writing brains, Inkzoid foundation, Story mirror, The whole community and he hopes he would continue to grow further.
