India the Champions of Le Grand Quiz Tournoi 2022

With memories of last time being knocked out closest to hopes in 2004, this time India was much different in approach and  planning to work things out in leadership of Mr. Pant with other highly classified team members.

Due to pandemic of 2020, the tournament had to be shifted in 2022 and the chance always seems to be waiting for something new.

We did have a bumpy start, in 1st stage where the knock out match against Tuvalu was a concern but it went well and we took one step ahead.

In 2nd stage there were more for showdown, including contest of typing  round and knock out.

We did well against chile in round of 64 and against Denmark in  round of 32  to cross through to final stage for 1st time in history of Indian  blind quizzing and hope started to rise  up.

The 3rd stage didn’t look easy, in pre quarters China proved a tough component but were defeated and in quarters we had to face Australia who knocked us last time and we bashed them on this ocasion making it  square.

In semifinals, we competed against Asian arch rivals Japan but their drop down in speed gave us momentum and it was 1st time we were  into finals of Le Grand quiz tournoi,  only one step away from trophy to make it grand now.

The finals was not going to be easy, Swiss has learnt from past mistakes but it was big player time and both captains lashed head to  head for it.

But our skip made it counted taking the final rush of speed and India for the 1st time became champions of such grand tournament with contributions all around by  team players defeating swiss 4-1 with 3 rounds tied in final.

The tournament finally concluded at presentation ceremony where our  captain was declared player of finals and Indian vice captain was announced lady of the tournament.

With pride of natonal anthem played and award prize money handed over both to runenrs up and winners, it was all over from Mellbourne.

A huge word of gratitude to  all those who blessed us to lead victory, for now its cheers from charlie…

6 years to Burning Asia

This book is a vivid piece of work by Indian author Saurabh Pant that was published on  1st of NOvember 2016 by lulu PUblisher Inc from the United States in the form of an ebook.

Being his 1st international self project, the work is quite close to the author and the way it was responded round the globe is also pleasing in its actual terms to the whole team.

The work generally focuses on the political conditions of  Asia in the 21st century or  leading up to it, has longer lines of poems in it, and has been recognised both by Helsinki peace memorial  and Yales university for its standard.

The work is also appreciated in India by few reviewers, the influence of its author went on to create even its paperback later so it speaks the volume of closeness  with him.

On this day when the work has completed 6 years in  running, the author would like to express gratitude to parents and family, author team all around, Nick sir and Priya ma’m for creative support to start his global journey and it is a special moment indeed.

The author hoped  that more love would pour upon this political poetry as the time goes on, for now its cheers from charlie…

Rage of the marine titans

War is a tricky situation, it destroys hopes, lives and more than anything it directly affects the identity of an institution called family.

This book is a vivid piece of work by Indian author Saurabh Pant in the form of a novella which is set in the backdrop of the Russian Ukraine conflict.

While 2 families of battling commanders grapple for identity and reaching to best men, we come to realise how diplomatic strategies work to insure war does take place.

It is an unknown secret for many, but war seems to be on everyone’s mind, so it ultimately destroys every peaceful entity at  the end…

8 years completed as an author

When you speak  of almost 8 years, it means a lot of time has gone by and things must have changed.

As an author it has been a peaceful journey. When I published my 1st book, it was just  a start and I haven’t learnt how to craft it but hopefully now I am better at it.

On this day when it has been completion of span of 8 years I would like to express gratitude to all places and platforms who accepted me, gave me chance to create, produce and publish, be it distribution portals or technical websites, or blogging portals, it has all been a blessing in disguise and the journey goes on.

6 years of global writing

Your journey is reflected by how you have done, the steps you have taken, the impact they have and this is something similar for Mr. Pant who  started his international writing journey on the 12th of august in 2016, exactly on the same day 6 years back and he is glad to recall  it back.

In this gap of 6 years, a lot has happened since, he has been recognised as various stages, thanks to global publishers he has been presented with a lot of chances and publishing processes, and not only genre but format of works has also made him look  happy to go back and consider it all.

The contribution in digital works in tough times of Pandemic seems to make him glow, specific efforts on world stage with magazines has been a great reflection of these years, and he is grateful to Romania for 4 honours to come, impulse of writing  done in other genre and it all seems to hold him together with 9 global awards.

There are specific mentions who would definitely come apart from support of parents and family, he is thankful to nIck sir an Priya ma’m for all efforts, to distributors round globe for recognising him, review and PR agencies to  make it count, global platforms to help him publish in huge scale and as  a global author it does feel perfect to be part of such  huge strides.

It is not the end of the journey, the  nest is still to build completely, as an author it does feel a nice flight but still the home is far and he hopes that as an author you would continue to support,  til more such moments come making it bigger,  for now its cheers from charlie…

Round 2 of Le Grand Quiz Tournoi

India has a lot to  play for in the 2nd round of this grand tournament, they were not only under pressure to prove but they also have to  change the tradition and have to pass through the 2nd round for the first time so it can become a great memory.

The process of the tournament started in a similar way in the 2nd round, delegates from federations gave their speeches, inaugurated the 2nd part and  showed presentations  to make it a great vallour for the visually impaireed  community.

The 2nd round  was going to be the technical  round with answers typed by support of Screen reader and all arrangements were done to make it go in a smooth way.

It started from Madrid, where the India team did well. They started slow but kicked off real pace in typing and ended as first spot in this robin round fixture, though as a process the bottom 8 teams had to pack their bags and now there were 72  countries to compete for next round.

from Madrid, they went to Milan, were greeted in joy, and again India used same tactic of slow to speed bust and same result came through being on top, but like the process of this robbin round again bottom 8 teams have to go home and now it was going to be knock out from next city onwards.

It started in Athens where India got a bad news, Indian captain got il and they have to call  substitute against Chile for 1st knock out and vice captain  has to lead, But Daksh did well and team did few mistakes defeating Chile in round of 64 going pass and making their captain  proud.

Back in for last move of typing round, in Reykjavik, with round of 32, Captain returned and showed skills, the team was led well and in knock out again proved heavy wait for Denmark making them do more mistakes and crossing pass first time for the 3rd stage of Le Grand quiz tournoi.

It was a real feel of joy, but the job is not done yet, India has managed to cross the lines but future awaits them, it would be very interesting how they do from now onwards and til then  they can celebrate, with more joy and updates to come for future, til now its cheers from charlie…

Indian hoeps in 2nd round of Le Grand Quiz Tournoi

the first round that is called ‘Asian aura’ did work in great way for Indian visually impaired quiz team, but the challenge has just started to fold, it's the 2nd round from where things start to become more tough and it would spend how they play in the next round to held in August In various parts of europe.

Usually it is called ‘European Element’ which would involve a technical round as part of it where screen reader software support would be used and it may have 2 robin rounds and 2 knock outs with finishing it deciding the last 32 teams for the final round to take place iN november.

It was made clear by head coach and captain in early meetings and discussions with  press that they are not going to take it easy, there is lot to learn from bigger contests and the way things would be approached in speed and accuracy is going to be key for success in 2nd round of this once in a 20 year held tournament.

All the experience they have got while becoming 2 time world cup champions and winning round 16 trophies beside would be a great help in bigger emotions  and they look to fulfil their dream to get as close as they can to this sparkling moment of nOvember once playing  well in 2nd round.

It depends how the team does in these 4 hot spots of the European element in the blooming August, we will continue to bring all the updates from quiz erina, till more  such delightful  moments come for now its cheers from charlie…

Beyond actual scars

Present life is one of the most hectic one, twiddle of messages and you smile, zing of vibrations and you respond and even there are platforms which consider love, to attach feelings of bond and yet they are all empty in actual reality.

Albeit, people don’t spend time together, yes they do on technical devices but not in that social manner,  they fool each  other of simplest of riches which are never visible, lights of public life which is not connected and this is why the system called ‘family’ is in most fearsome attack due to 21st century technology of most influence.

Do you know what it does? It torn your loved ones, because when you  are betrayed or being cheated by fake profiles or lesser original faces, then it becomes a wholesome affair of technical  robbery and you are not going to  complain about it, are you?

It's only a justiculation to all that is lost, no hope to recover and you get drained to never be what you have to by such offence but at the end you come back, apologies to speak, hardly to admit  to your loved one, the real humans and that what counts the most in it.

It is also true that few people get lucky, they get reality even in these social media networks, they get married,  have children and they follow suit, but it's not that they won't’ be cheated, to face the one which is not real and facing the faceless is the worst scar of life.

This doesn’t mean you stop using such  networks, no more chat messages or conversations, in current hectic life people speak less to those who are in their front compared to  talking on phone or their PC, but it has to be of a limit, in scope which his actually real and be percentage with social connections also made beyond it to adjust for it.

making the mess of innovation  is equally intrusive or toxic so you have to choose out, to find what is more handy and at what level. If you know the boundary and seem to think this is the way to do it, then it surely goes beyond to lead a better life.

And if not? Then it creates scar, physical for leisure or or by  those who misuse technical  networks, in thoughts by those who were connected before entry of lesser original profiles, and these scars won’t be visible but remain deep down, hardly going out back which you would never be able to remove your mind.

Be sensible, in urge to prove others, don’t lose your consciousness, cause it's you who  decide your life not those who are in different curtains lurking  behind absolute dark windows…

Round 1 of La Grand Quiz tournoi

The beginning of the  journey takes place with inauguration and for a tournament like La Grand Quiz Tournoi it has to be special so it started with  3 presentations done by dignitaries from the world stage of blind quizzing.

The first presentation showcased the evolution  and impact of such a tournament, , the 2nd one highlighted the role of prominent delegates round the globe and the last one showed the top 20 countries to watch out for during all 3 rounds of the contest, and it was a perfect display.

After the lighting and showcase,it was time for crackers and with officialon the stage, they announced the tournament to be open and the beginning of round 1of La Grande Quiz Tournoi.

To give a brief outline, the technology that was going to be used had to be Lebranz, Mizolo, Orbit reader, Dux sound, Sphinx audio braille sound and Obi record premium and it was all arranged under supervision  of technical aid from the French Telecast support network.

Game 1 started in decent  form for all 20 countries to showcase in Dubai. India did have a light start but the leader caught up and both the vice captain and the captain helped India to finish at 3rd spot, but unfortunately the 16 countries who finished bottom had to say goodbye and their journey ended here.

Similar to this, the 2nd game that was held in Singapore was getting more to  gear up in speed, now 192 countries were left and Indian team caught more pace here beating the other contenders and they progressed  1 spot further to 2nd while like the 1st game, 16 more countries who finished at bottom were heading back to home.

Now it went towards China where 176 countries were left , Mr. pant had a word with team to speed the best so they can face lowest country in 1st knockout to come and they did live up to expectations closing over Swiss to do better but like in previous 2 games, here 16 more countries who were at bottom has to  see their tournament ending and all 20 countries at wished  them well.

It was time to turn the heat on in Japan now, India finishing at top had  to face Tuvalu the 160th country and it was a knock out match of 2 rounds where Tuvalu had made tactical  pressure but Mr. Pant waited for their mistakes and it proved handy enough for them.

Using match awareness  the team easily handled the match and finished  with 6 to 10 mistakes, 4 less than the opponent  meaning Tuvalu lost by 20 points and India was through to the 2nd round of La Grande Quiz tournoi that would take place in August in different parts of Europe.

It is just a start but the team India is pleased, a short session was led by captain  and coach after the end of round 1 in India to express gratitude and they all are hopeful  for better performances in August til more such updates come, for now its cheers from charlie..

Indian expectations in Le grand quiz tournoi

India’s journey in the grand cultural moment like La Grand quiz Tournoi starts after we got freed, though in British times it was rare for blind people to get encouraged, after India got independent, we got our first chance to be part of it in 1956 but the performance was not much to admire in that time and only being present was a big moment to remember for us.

Our impact expanded a bit in the next occasion in 1972 where INdia did clear the 1st stage but finished in the top 80 nations which was indeed a much better influence to remember for us.

It was similar for us in the next opportunity in 1988 where we did reach up to the top 72 nations  but the impact of the 2nd round was still missing and there was a lot to be done as a visually impaired team representing a nation.

It was finally in the 21st century that we made a bigger impact when It happened last time, in 2004 we not only clear both 2 rounds but reached up to final last stage knock out where we got defeated to Australia who was the champions but as a memory it was a much better performance in leadership of previous captain Mukherji sir for INdia as  a visually impaired team.

Now Le Grand Quiz tournoi is  happening once more, the team that will represent India this time has  won 2 world cup which was never happened before, Mr. pant as a captain who  want this feather under his name with great support and as a team there is lot on stake but how the process goes on may count much more when it comes to expectations  to have glory moments  counted.

All we hope for is that our team will do well, a much better position to cover for the past and make all of us proud, there is much to come, and as every update will  come we would continue to bring that to you, till more such updates for now cheers from charlie..

Le Grand Quiz Tournoi

Eternity of visual impairment seems to stand on with this tournament, it is one most biggest cultural stand out moment in history after invention and impact of braille and the idea of this tournament also comes from France that got established in early 20th century by efforts of La Marques de Saunsei, the then known chief commissioner of International  quiz federation  of blind who wanted to arrange for something big and came with idea of this back in the year 1906.

It did take while to establish as those were times where blind were not as supported in the days of present, lot of questions were raised, chances were limited but the idea got accepted finally in year of 1908 and it was decided that this would be arranged in gap of every 16 years as a grand tournament for visually impaired making it a  unique one of its kind in competitive nature.

Technology was not as frequent in its first three edition that  held in 1908, 1924 and 1940, but in 1950s things started to change and it gradually became one of most crowding tournament after the 1956 edition  and seems to make visually impaired quizzers feel pride to be part of its to save the memory as once in  a  lifetime moment to be involved and participate as competitors.

Grandeur of this tournament is very heavy as the famous motto speaks the volume and  impact of this tournament where victory of cultural harmony is set as core criteria to bring all together under one roof:

c'est le jeu des vainqueurs

The influence of this tournament becomes more popular by its tagline where life and living as two concepts  stand to represent blind people with better life and it still seems to be firm for eternity of quizzing, as it says:

la vie et la vie font partie intégrante du succès

IN terms of rules, generally this tournament is played in 3 stages, 1st which is represented through Asia, next one via Europe and the final one that holds Australia which also shows how symbolic it is in its organising  nature.

To cover three stages,  the first one is a braille round with 1 knockout stage, the 2nd one, like the process has a typing round with 2 knockout stages and the final one is played with a headset with audio question sessions to proceed to the technical term.

As per the rules the previous winner of the tournament gets the chance to have honour of organising it and as Australia won it in 2004, this time it will partner with India the champion of previous 2 world cups (2016 and 2020) to organise  it as a cultural lesence.

The first round is going to take place in may, the second one in August and the final one in australia in NOvember to proceed the tournament and as it didn’t take place in 2020 due to Covid, this time every |VI quizzers await the chance to be part of this Grand moment as 208 countries will take part to make the moment honourable.

We will try to bring you every further update including Indian team practice, process of tournament and how it goes, till more such updates come,  for now cheers from charlie…

Valentine joy of The lightboom band- music once more

The lightboom band is known for its essence, cultural mood and this time the occasion has to change with more members coming  to make it a royal delight possible.

It was time to sing for love, for the melody of  Valentine and Mr. Pant had discussed with the team earlier and in  2 online meetings how performance may go on with practice to create a perfect event by the entire team.

The process of the event started with a gesture of welcome from some well known friends, people from certain music portals that are popular today and the crowd greeted with great sound to cherish the band  members and let them go boom soon.

After the welcome, a few brief presentations took place  which demonstrated basic information  about the band and its members so those who didn’t  know can be elated with the power of it.

Once the presentation had proceeded, it was time to introduce every member, that is to say all 15 of them including Mr. Pant and one by one with their instruments, they presented their skills  and intro to make the craze of it and the flow of music is soon going to be of high voltage.

It was time to lift the sound, to do what Lightboom band is known for and the music started, instruments jingled and beats kicked off and Mr. Pant started what he is known for, to show slides as the performance continued to boom for next 1 hour and made its remark.

The crowd felt happy, delegates who had come felt elated and once the music stopped, it was time for monetary rewards for the entire team through digital transactions and it felt pure joy to be a part of it.

The show was not over for the crowd yet there was a review session  from worldwide music lovers on past and present efforts which was displayed through slides and it was going louder with every single step that was amazing.

It was time to call  off now, Mr. pant and the band members thanked everyone, delegates were promised of great musical performance in future which they accepted and with hands on hand, shouting with people leaving on for next moment, it was ended as  a great show and til more such moments come for now  its cheers from charlie…

1 year to Forest fires

This book is a vivid piece of work by Indian author Saurabh Pant that generally speaks of the volume of intensity by which  forests have been burnt, lost or demolished round our earth in the past one decade.

The author has generally expressed his feeling in poetry  form by creating this specific nature based work which has impressed certan global portals round the core in duration of 1 year and the way it has to impact is yet to consider in  large scale in form of environmental ideology, but in broad way  it is  a fine collection to read for people and they have enjoyed it round the globe.

To speak of the feedback it has got, the author is thankful to German views, the European feeds and those who have  rview round the global libraries, but it is yet to come  under scrutiny of his Indian review community that would explain the level of the poetry in a much better form.

IN all  ways the author is glad that the work has completed 1 year, he would  like to express his  gratitude to parents and family, author team both in Mumbai office and Delhi digital offices, those who accepted the work in their distribution  channel  in electronic text and he hopes that the real impact would  continue to expand in larger form, til more such moments  come  for now its cheer from charlie..

3 years to asian winds

This ebook is a vivid  piece of work by Indian author Saurabh Pant that generally focuses Asian politics as core to its nature and has been well appreciated around the world in the last 3 years.

Although in Ebook  form,Indian reviewers were lesser impressed due to lot of links added in its texture and lesser background colour to its cover page, , but in its print form that was published later with Poetry Ireland and has 2 edition got attention  from entire Asian community and it was also featured in  high  literary taglines of Romanian festival which surely give delight to the author due to the actual impact it has had round last 3 years as a literary work.

Generally it is a bit aggressive political poetry in its actual comparative aspect to Burning Asia and seems to attract readers who want to love the political genre of poetry for which the author feels that it did have a better touch to it and comparatively made more impact on political thought.

ON the day when it has completed 3 years, the author is gratified to  parents and family, author team both in Mumbai offices and Delhi digital offices, feels joyful that 3 years has gone past and it does seems to be a nice memory to collect as  an author to be part of one more Ebook that has completed such time and the author would  remember it long as a happy memory…
