The team started their earlier rounds well, moved on with great zeal in the knock out stage, and with all blessings from all sides it has become one more dream come true for Indian visually impaired quizzers in leadership of Mr. Pant to be the champions of it. The team started in a moderate way when it came to braille rounds, where in 1st round the speed was low and they ended on 3rd spot, and despite more burst of speed in 2nd pack of round, india remained to be on the 3rd spot and was satisfied to have done well in the entire round proceedings. In the typing round, Indian captain discussed speed factor with team and it resulted in a beneficiary factor where the team as a group did increase level and at the end of the typing round India had come to reach on 2nd spot and would face the pre quarter match against Slovakia to start the knock out proceedings. IN the pre quarters round, Slovakia gave great fight, India had to go on into the tie breaker, and with all eyes on the online fixture on front, the Asian country had a bigger hand and India went on for Quarters to meet Germany in next knock out match around. However, the quarters was a bit simple target for Mr. Pant and company as they bashed one more European country with 4 rounds to 0 and it looked like the dream was only 2 step away to be fulfilled in form of reality itself. In the semi finals, Indian captain expected Norway to give a fight and they did, Though not the long one and only they were able to win 1 round and tie 1 meaning that India defeated them 4-1 and the happiness was increasing in Indian camp as they were inching more close to the finals where they were going to face arch rivals Japan in the big virtual match to go through around. Thus, the finals had come, both teams were ready, Mr. Pant won the toss and decided to choose 'front on' seats and the final went on for 4 hours with one team overtopping the other in the earlier round where one time it was 2-2. but in 3rd hour things started to change, India had the lead of 4-2 with one match ending close to tie, and India didn't let it go. They took the lead further and at the end of it defeated Japan from 4 to 3 rounds and 1 match being tied and the entire smart board across Indian area erupted in joy and pleasure.
